Whether you're an avid angler seeking an escape, a remote worker in need of tranquility, or simply looking for a relaxing getaway with friends or family, this cabin is the perfect blend for all of the above.
Our cabin is just a stones throw away from local Cider House, Vineyards, Apple Orchards, Hiking, attractions and Downtown Ellijay. Escape to seclusion or enjoy exploring the tremendous adventures the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer.
DRIVEWAY | ENTRANCE
A private gate welcomes you to our property. Pulling into the cabin’s circular driveway, you will begin to see the glory that this property presents with River & Mountain View’s. We have plenty of parking for several cars. You will access the cabin via a self-check in door code that will be provided 72 hours prior to arrival.
LIVING ROOM
Cathedral ceilings & sky lights greet you in this epic great room with beautiful floor-to-ceiling flagstone gas fireplace and open concept kitchen, living room + dining space for 6-10. You’ll enjoy all of the natural light with several 80 inch windows. Cozy up with a book, good conversation, or watch your favorite TV show/Movie on your favorite streaming service in this relaxing one of a kind light-filled room.
KITCHEN
Our well stocked kitchen has all of the basics and then some! Need a crockpot or blender? How about a Cookie sheet or casserole dish? We have you covered! You’ll enjoy cooking and preparing meals in our open-concept kitchen that keeps you connected to the action and gives you quick access to request more chef support while making your FIVE star inspired recipes.
INDOOR/OUTDOOR DINING
A table for six sits in the great room and on the outdoor porch. There are also 4 bar stools at the kitchen island for additionally seating. Whether you sit indoor or outdoors you will feel like you are in a treehouse with incredible views!
PRIMARY BEDROOM | Main Level
(Bedroom #1) Just steps away from the great room, you will be in heaven with your own little retreat! A King bed awaits with a gas fireplace (double-sided from living room) plus your own private entrance to the main floor bath. Enjoy your own door that leads outside to the screened in porch with Daybed for a quick escape to see the sunrise or sunset.
BATHROOMS | Main & Terrace Levels
There is a full bathroom on the main & terrace level with two entrances (one from the bedroom and one from the hallway.)
TERRACE LEVEL BEDROOMS
Bedroom #2 - A King Bed & sitting area with entrance to bathroom and a door leading you outside to the deck to enjoy the hot tub or watch the sunrise or set.
Bedroom #3 | Bunk Room - This room has four bunk beds and sleeps KIDS ONLY (no adults). This is a “secret/hidden room”. Upon arrival kids can enjoy a scavenger hunt to find this fun room, while the adults unpack & get settled! This is sure to gain FIVE star approval from your wee ones!
HOT TUB
Enjoy being above the trees whispering creek below. The hot tub is the perfect place to relax after a long day of adventuring & exploring,
DEN/GAME ROOM
This terrace level room has a large game table, shuffle board table, tons of board games, and a cozy wood burning fireplace area for entertaining guests of all ages.
RIVER ACCESS
Our property sits on the widest part of Licklog Creek as it merges with the Cartecay River. This body of water is designated as a Georgia Trout stream so be sure to BYOP (Bring Your Own Pole). You can mozy on down to the riverside fire pit via the boardwalk (you’ll be sure to contribute to your daily steps going back and forth from the rivers bank so don’t forget your snacks or bug spray!). It’s a slice of paradise at the water's edge with plenty of room to fish, roam & explore, roast s’mores, dip your toes in the crisp water, picnic or simply relax. (Swim at your own risk.)
GUEST ACCESS
The road is gravel and dirt. Sedans should have no issues accessing the cabin. You will have access to the entire cabin, and the number of beds to accommodate the number of guests in your reservation.
PRICING
There is a $15 fee for each additional guest per night. Our home sleeps 4 adults and 4 children comfortably.

Our cabin is in the woods so you can expect uneven ground, stairs, rocks, a flowing body of water, poison ivy and the unpredictability of nature. We do not offer refunds for weather, bugs, mosquitoes, power outages or any other environmental issues that are out of our direct control. We appreciate your understanding. We will always do our very best to help you remediate any concern that do arise for you during your stay. Please reach out with any concerns immediately so we can assist you in finding resolution.

Guest interactionWe own and manage this Hideaway personally (no disconnected customer service agents here!) This is our pride and joy, our treasures family cabin. We truly care about your experience at our property. Should you need anything, we are happy to help and make ourselves available Monday - Saturday, 9am – 7pm. Neighborhood overviewOur cabin is tucked away on a dead-end road in beautiful North Georgia! You will pass through Farmland & country residential homes as you drive to our property on a non-paved road (sedans will make it with no issues). Our property is located minutes from Downtown Ellijay, BJ Reece’s Cider House, Apple Orchards and Vineyards.
Getting aroundVisit downtown Ellijay for a quaint shopping and dining experience. From antique stores to modern decor stores and from pizza to coffee, Ellijay has it all. Located in the heart of Apple country, our cabin is only 5 minutes to several apple orchards. Trying the multiple varieties of fried pies is a must! If adventure is in your heart, make sure to check out the many nearby mountain biking and hiking trails. We absolutely love Amicalola Falls as well, which is an easy 25 min drive from the cabin.
